The GreatBase Tennis Summer Camp is led by Steve Smith, founder of GreatBase Tennis and Tennis Memphis’s Director of Player Development & Tennis Education. Steve has developed an uncommon approach to teaching the game based on his life-time of experience studying tennis teaching masters and proven tennis teaching methodologies. Participants will learn to both play and teach based on the GreatBase Tennis Curriculum- a fact-based “system of systems” that emphasizes proven methods of tennis teaching based on the work of Welby Van Horn and Vic Braden, among others. Camp participants will interface with visiting students from the Summer Immersion Camps. These camps are attended by players and coaches from all over the world. Over 500 of Steve’s students have gone on to play and/or coach college tennis. Visit greatbasetennis.com to learn more about Steve Smith and the GreatBase.

Campers should bring: Towel, notebook, pen, skip rope, stretching bands, sunscreen, hat or visor, mater bottle, tennis shoes and running shoes.
